randomness

so it's been awhile since i've posted. well i have graduated from lamson college and working on finding a job as a medical assistant. it hasn't been easy. but just gonna have to keep pushing foward. i know something will come soon. as for now i still do the respite care. Anika is now 2 years old and is so adorable!!! i love watching her and taking care of her. taking care of a baby that has down syndrome has it's challenges but it's good practice.  Anika has two other siblings as well. they can be a handful lol. but they are good kids and they love their sister so much!!! well as most of you know it's the Christmas season, so we get to see all of the beautiful lights, the smell of Christmas trees, the decorations, making and giving gifts, decorating, making Christmas cookies which is my favorite thing to do! :-D one of my favorite things is going to see the Mesa Arizona Temple lights! they get better and better every year! and my ward got to help with them again this year. i love being able to help with them and then see the results afterwards. it is so awesome to get to see the finished product. you never know how the service you render by helping put up those lights will bless people who are not of our faith. it's amazing to see how the spirit works.  another reason why i love this time of year is that everybody seems to be a whole lot nicer during this time of year. not sure why but it always seems that way. sometimes i wish people were like that the whole entire year not just for the Christmas season. if everybody was like that all year, the world would probably be a better place. :-)
